Southeast Asia is a region of the world with a population already approaching 700 million people. Today, the Republic of Belarus regards it as one of its most important partners in terms of Belarusian political and economic interests. For this reason, the development of mutually beneficial cooperation with the countries of this part of the Asian continent is one of the key priorities of our republic's foreign policy. Economic relations are developing quite successfully. In particular, the volume of foreign trade between Belarus and the countries of Southeast Asia in 2025 exceeded 1.1 billion dollars, with a trade surplus for Belarus, which demonstrates the demand for Belarusian products in this region of Asia. Furthermore, our country has significant potential for expanding cooperation with these partners, including in the agricultural and industrial sectors. Promising areas for cooperation also include the chemical, electronics, and textile industries. How are business ties developing with certain countries in this region-Vietnam, Indonesia, and Myanmar? This is the subject of the proposed study.
