Surprisingly Fun!

This simple book asks questions such as "Baby sees a bottle, what does baby say." When you open the flap it says "Juice"! Another page asks "Baby Looks in Mommy's Purse, what does baby say? Baby says "KEYS!". I know "Juice" AND "Keys" probably aren't the best answers but the book is a large board book with colorful illustrations that is entertaining even if the answers aren't ideal. I looked at the book several times at the bookstore before finally purchasing. My daughter really enjoys opening the flaps and the book is of wonderful quality.

Great book for toddlers

I have read this book to my 19 month old approximately 1,329 times in the last three days, so I'll go ahead and give it five stars. Instead of reading, "What does baby say," I use my toddler's name. He love to chime in with the response. I think it's a good book for infants, but it's also great for toddlers because they can really understand the story and participate in it. The book is very sturdy and the flaps are securely attached. Some lift-the-flap books don't stand a chance against rough toddlers, but I think this one will hold up.

Begin Smart...GREAT BOOKS FOR BABIES!!!

We absolutely love Begin Smart books!! They have bright simple illustrations and above all they are VERY durable. They are meant to be read and handled by babies. So many baby board books are flimsy and not really "baby proof." Begin Smart books have always exceeded my expectations. My 7 month old has enjoyed them since birth. "What Does Baby Say?" is great!! Our long standing favorite is " What Does Baby Do?" My baby has loved that book since he was about 3 months old!
