Michael is a thirty-year-old video game designer and passionate gamer. Life is ordinary. Routine, games, work... Nothing more, nothing less. Until that damn day when he decides to play the new level, Before Dawn, in his favorite virtual reality role-playing game, Zombie Deluge. Desperate to understand whether what he is living through is a game, reality, or something else entirely, to piece together fragmented memories, and above all to survive, Michael slowly comes to realize one unsettling truth: nothing is quite what he thought it was.
