The best scouting report on living & dying with cancer

I think the title captures it all. Eva takes you on a journey to the end of her life. It’s woven into nature, her backyard - Prince William Sound, with a sprinkling of her hometown in WNY, but mostly her time in Alaska observing a unique group of killer whales, the AT1 Transients, that were impacted by the Exxon oil spill of 1989. They are going extinct with her (another must read - Eva’s ‘Into Great Silence’, which is about her time with the AT1’s).
