Shogo Narumi shows who he really is in this book

Narumi in this one tries to act like he's all cool with absolutely no emotions, yet he shows himself to actually care. He hurt himself right before the battle with Niida trying to rescue Kiri's cat Shampoo. I love how Kiri just stops and looks at him like she couldn't believe he did that. And notices how hurt he is at the end for the battle. I'm so glad she showed up to the battle and didn't leave them hanging. She is so incredibly talented. And I need her to be with Narumi. She's immune to his charms and he really has a great heart underneath his facade.

A Scissor's Project battle deluxe.

Narumi is challenge by #2 at his father's college in a 5 by 5 battle and Ochiai tries to get Kiri and Iori to join the Scissor's Project. Ochiai bribes Iori with latest pictures of Kiri's mom Emily while Kiri is persuaded to bail out her bestfriend by taking her place. The volume also includes extra stories including a short on how Kiri and Shampoo met. I really like this cute series, the writing is excellent and the illustrations are light and engaging. There something just simply charming about this series.
