fabulous artist

Beatriz Milhazes is a fabulous young artist and I am glad to have this book which includes a lengthy interview with her by fashion designer Christian Lacroix (the text of this book is in both English & French) and a description and photos of the artists' studio and certain of her paintings while she the artist is at work on them. Since this is a small book in dimensions (approx. 9 1/2 x 7 inches) the photos are smaller scale than would be nice to see of her large paintings---but the book is what it is-- so a complaint about the image quality is really pointless. I am just glad to have the information on this wonderful on important artist now, and I am sure that in more advanced stages of her career there will be large coffee table books of her work with glossy big pictures in them.
