Be Strong, Dear Soul: a poem book for the millennial mind

I began writing "Be Strong, Dear Soul," the poem at the end of this book, during my first time down in Costa Rica-a place of pure natural and human beauty, a place that made me see things differently, and a place to which I have now returned. I am not, however, suggesting that everyone must buy plane tickets and visit Central America. In truth, this place can be anywhere for a person. Perhaps it's in your grandparents' backyard, or maybe literally at the top of a mountain. It doesn't matter much. What matters is what you learned and how it made you feel. In reading this book, I hope you think back to all those special places and to the person that encouraged you to be. Thank you, and please enjoy.
