A book to save for your own kids.
Very well-written. I just wish I had found books like this and other Jane McFann books when I was a teen. I will save it for my daughter. Jane McFann was my English teacher at Glasgow H.S. in Newark, Delaware over 20 years ago. I keep up with all her books and love reading them -- and I'm no teen anymore! This particular one is great in the suspense department. You almost become the characters and really feel you know what they are feeling and experiencing. Great job! Great book!

Excellent Book
This book rocks!! It's really funny and scary at the same time. Jane McFann really knows how to use humor in these types of books. Both the characters are really good although I am only on Chapter 22 and I started reading this book yesterday ... I still don't know who is the bad guy and it's getting suspenseful. I recommend this book.

The Best Book I have Read!
I find it too bad that all the other books about Starling and Bethany are outta print, cuz these two charactors are Great!! This book was excellent, it was funny, scary, and then it still has the old fasion love story behind it! A++++!!!

Brings back memories
I had Ms. McFann for high school english and this book brought back alot of memories!! No events in the book didn't take place in my high school, but the characters remind me of some of the people from Honors.

Wonderful book
This book had great combination of elements: humor, sensitivity, and true suspence. I read through this one in a day, I simply couldn't put it down. I just learned that there are more books with Starling and Bethany, and I plan to read them all!!
