STOP WRITING LIES DIANE DIMOND! ASK GOD FOR MERCY MAYBE GOD WILL FORGIVE YOU.

For Those Who Think He's Guilty and for Those Who Don't

The Michael Jackson "story" isn't finished yet. But this book documents what is surely among the final few chapters. Devoted Jackson fans of course believe he is wrongly maligned and innocent of any criminal charges. And it's no wonder they do. Michael Jackson is a powerful entertainer with the money and influence to control a great deal of information that relates to his public image, like the old movie studios used to cultivate an image of their biggest stars. His talent is real. His hit music is infectious and loved around the world. The allegations that have been brought against him have been murky...not easily proven, to say the least. So, it's easy to see why people don't want to believe anything negative about him. Still, most reasonably educated people realize that Jackson, for all his charm, sweetness, and money, seems to end up in a lot of very ugly legal battles for a wide variety of reasons. Up until very recently they have been kept mostly quiet. This book sheds some light on patterns in Michael Jackson's life that cannot be disputed and that are corroborated mostly by employees, some who are in legal disputes with him up to this day. Of course, Diane Dimond is seen as one on a witch hunt for Jackson, as opposed to a reporter who was handed a lead on a story that blew up into something big...and kept growing. Dimond has been told things by people who know and were around Michael Jackson. People who saw things, people who never spoke to each other or knew that anyone else saw something like what they saw. She presents the information she obtained from various sources and charts some behind the scenes information about the most recent molestation trial in which Jackson was acquitted of all charges. She makes no catty remarks, although she is sure to receive nothing but vitriol from Jackson fans. The book's easy to follow and great airplane reading. Jackson fans will want to know the details of some of Jackson's business arrangements, and current-events and celebrity followers will be solidly brought-up-to-speed on many salacious details. No one wants a sequel to this book, but few readers should be surprised if there is one.

Diane Has Made A Difference!

Thank you for your tireless investigating and reporting of the Michael Jackson case from the very beginning. Hopefully, your book and all of the publicity from the trial will send a strong message to those who continue to "judge books by their covers" and allow child predators such as Jackson to go on and destroy children and their families. I'll never understand the argument from Jackson supporters who tell us: "How can you judge him? You've never met him!" I've never met Adolf Hitler or Saddam Hussein either but I have a pretty good idea that those two individuals were not very nice, clean-cut fellows as they would have had us believe. Jackson was likely a victim of child abuse himself and that was most probably the cause of his adult behavior. But that doesn't excuse him or anyone else from repeating the damage that they themselves suffered in their past. Jackson is, hopefully, permanently "out of business" in his obsession with young boys, at least in the U.S anyway. It remains to be seen if he will be allowed to roam free and continue to do damage in other parts of the world. Somehow, like his British comrade, Gary Glitter, I feel we haven't heard the last of him or his "escapades". Keep checking your rear-view mirror, Diane. He'll be coming into focus again before you know it and passing you like you were standing still!

Only slightly disappointed

Some of the damaging stuff was left out of the book for legal reasons. But I quite enjoyed the book. For someone who has access to most of the material presented in the book it's not so much a revelation as a repository of documentation. What Ms. Dimond does do in this book is tie it together into a coherent picture which is nothing short of amazing considering the subject of the book. There will be people with closed minds who will deny what is presented here, that's their loss. The arrogance of the subject comes through clearly. If someone never heard of MJ before and attempted to classify the book it would most likely be listed as fiction. Longtime fans of the subject may object to some of the graphical descriptions but it remains of the the best researched books I've read in the last few years. Grab it and reward the author for the excellent job.

Go Diane!

Take our Jacko, please! (Preface: As I begin writing this post, Prince's "Purple Rain" is on the radio... how is it that Michael Jackson is somehow the "king of pop" over Prince, who not only has remained talented but had the top-grossing concert tour last year?) The Sun UK reports that Wacko Jacko plans to torture an entirely new country with his Neverland ranch: "... Jacko, 47, has bought two villas and land in Bahrain's exclusive Amwaj islands. He plans a replacement for his California ranch on the man-made islands, developed as a haven for the very rich. ... The star vowed to quit America for good after being cleared on child sex abuse charges in June. Neverland is on sale for around £70million. His father Joe said: 'He'll come back to visit but not stay. They didn't treat him right here.'" Whatever. But the Gulf News is reporting that Jackson is creeping around Dubai: "Ending the controversy over whether the King of Pop is indeed in Dubai, Michael Jackson turned up in the flesh to give away awards for the world renowned Dubai Desert Rally racing tournament on Monday night. ..." And he's previously been spotted poking around Dubai malls: "... Jackson allegedly visited a ladies toilet before taking refuge in Magrudys bookshop when crowds gathered." But the natives aren't exactly pleased: "... Jackson's offbeat personality seems to be a turn-off for many UAE residents since in a Gulf News online poll yesterday 47.4 per cent said they didn't want him moving to the country. A mere 34.3 per cent would like him to set up home here while 18.3 per cent did not care either way. ... Jackson was first seen in Dubai at the end of August when he enjoyed a meal at the Hard Rock Café and visited the offices of developer Nakheel. He went for a trip to see The World and The Palm projects and this sparked speculation he was looking to buy a place here. More recently, Jackson was reportedly in Ibn Battuta shopping mall - wearing an abaya and a traditional woman's headscarf." Sounds like he's trying to, er, fit in... But someone, just take him, please. Bahrain, UAE ... hell, even Syria. The United States will be eternally grateful for your trouble.

Does The Truth Matter?

For the few Jackson fans left, I have but one question? Does the truth really matter to you? Laud his performances and music, but his behavior should be condemned whether you believe he is a child molester or not. I'm especially appalled at the few black people who stick up for this lunatic. Michael Jackson has long ago decided he didnt' want to be black and some of you are so desperate for a black icon, you can't see past the plastic surgery and countless nose jobs-- oh that's right he only had two!! A wig wearing, make up happy, skin whitening creep, who disowned his people and tickles the pants of pre-teen and young boys and people want to turn a blinds eye. Diane Dimond never turned a blind eye and from all indications was once a fan too. But as an investigative reporter, she uncovered the truth and you people want to blame her? Get real. Get a life. As she said, Be Careful Who You Love.
