By Joel and Stephanie Midthun

Book Overview

Jesus came to "set the captives free." But many times we are held captive by our heavy chains and don't even know it. Tough seasons in life and the demands of ministry can damage the soul, especially when we experience betrayal, disappointment, assault, rejection, and slander. Battles and Breakthroughs in Setting Captives Free is the deeply personal story of Pastor Joel and Stephanie Midthun and their journey to wholeness, healing, and hope. Once facing heavy spiritual battles, exhaustion, and burnout, now their passion is to help others become whole and free-from pastors and leaders to children on the streets who are victims of sex trafficking. Theirs is a miraculous story of transformation, courage, and obedience that inspires and equips others to answer God's call-wherever it may lead.Includes reflective questions and insights that are perfect for pastors, ministry leaders, and anyone wondering what God may be up to in their lives. Are you ready for a breakthrough? If the answer is yes, then this book is for you.
