Very helpful with great pictures. This book simplifies the material even for those that have never taken a course in histology. Great investment since many universities as well as medical and dental schools use this book.

The Best BASIC Histology book

For sure this is the best BASIC Histology book ever...if you do want some deep treatment about the topic, go search another book...but for what it intends to discuss (the basic concepts of human body tissues science), the book is explendid. Please, DO NOT compare this book with a non basic book.

OMG What a great book!

This is one of the best books i've had(and read) so far, its gives you very concise and practical information(its a BASIC histology book,not a PRO) for a freshman getting into the Histology. it also has words in BOLD and in blue color to notice you about the most important terms and info to know.It even has small important phrases in big letters,just like Reader's digest!!

This is a great histology textbook.

This book was my assigned text in medical school. This book goes over all the squamous epithelial cells you can think of. It has interesting information that is easier to learn then other subjects. Histology is definitely one of my favorite courses in med school. This book is written on a high level. Yes, it requires some comprehension. However, without this book, I would have failed my histology class. From advice of one of the previous reviewers, I also bought, "Histology Study Guide", isbn 0971999686. This study guide was definitely very helpful for test preparation. It gets right to the point.

Just Great

This book is one of the best books i've ever read in basic histology. it's really good for medical students, Simple and straight to the point. Every histologic feature had it's clinical correlation which is so helpful for students throughout their Predoc studies.
