The latch released, and she flung the door open. Seeing Penn, she leapt upwards, and he caught her, his hands on her bottom, his mouth meeting hers. Entering, unasked, he kicked the door closed behind him and carried her across the room. He fell down where she'd been sitting, moment ago, his hands shifting to grip her cheeks.

"Best greeting ever," he said, pulling away at last.

She smiled. "I missed you."

His arms tightened around her. "And I missed you."
