One of my all time favorites!!!!

Steamy, romantic, sizzling, arousing, edgy....all these words describes Chevy. If there were more men in this world like him we would be some gitty women smiling ear-to-ear`everyday. He has a sexy possessiveness to him that women crave in a man. He lets you know "You are my woman" and he is going to take care of you like a man should. DAMN. Can I have a man like that pleeeeease. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. A DEFINITE MUST READ!!!!

"Satisfying"

I love it.It was so intriguing, insatiable, sizzling, bonding, twist and turns. But, it was very satisfying. How many of us can find these shining armor? Since, our men on outside are very limited. Many don't want to take a stand be in forefront of family unity. Great book!!!

So Satisfying!

Who would have thought that a little romance novel that I picked up while on vacation would have been the MOST satisfying book I've read ALL YEAR. I read everything, big name authors included. This is my favorite this year though. This book has characters that you love, nice plot twists, exciting love scenes, and a family that you wish you knew. I am DYING for more about the Ballantynes (or maybe even a book about Alex Galloway). You can tell a good romance when you find yourself getting sad that you are on the last few pages. Nice job, Kimberley White.

Destined to Leave You Wanting More

Having stumbled into the Ballantyne trilogy at my local library, much to my surprise all of the books were available! I swooped them up and began Only In My Dreams as soon as I got home! I was hooked! From the first page of that first book in the series through To Love a Ballantyne and on to the last page of the last book, Ballantyne's Destiny, it was difficult not to fall in love with the Ballantyne brothers. These guys are tall, good-looking, educated, and successful in business. Based on their personality differences, there's something--make that someone--for everyone! But the thing that most endears them to the reader and makes them altogether loveable is their abiding commitment to love and to family. They will go far above and beyond to nurture and protect the ones they love. In Ballantyne's Destiny, the middle brother, misunderstood Chevy Ballantyne yearns for a love of his own. He's become a bit of a hermit, due to ugly rumors fueled by talk from an ex-flame, complicated by his brooding personality. The truth is Chevy is warm and loving, and a bit of a sexual adventurer, but he needs someone to bring him out of hiding. He finds that person in Maddie Ingram. Maddie, the town's librarian, is good friends with Sutton Hill Ballantyne, Chevy's sister-in-law. Maddie is committed to caring for her ill father yet feels as though she's been held hostage by her devotion to family and as a result, may have missed out on life's possibilities. She desires a love of her own, but he has to be someone that understands her personal constraints as well as her need to explore the word beyond Hannaford Valley. Through Sutton, Maddie and Chevy have met on a few brief occasions, unknowingly sparking interest in one another. When they finally connect, can Maddie and Chevy dig beyond their public personas to discover the gems within and find true love? As they help each other to experience the world on a bigger scale, they discover that everything they need, including each other, is right at home. My only disappointment was that there weren't more books in the series. Ms. White's writing was both sensual and explicit without being overly graphic. (I felt like I took a course in how to write great love scenes.) Her plots twisted and turned more than an amusement park roller coaster. And in the end, she delivered three deeply satisfying romances.

End Of A Family Saga

I loved the final installment about these wonderful, sexy, smart, and caring Ballantyne men. I have waited for Chevy and Maddie's story and Kimberley didn't disappoint me. Chevy is the middle brother but like his brothers he loves hard and completely. Maddie didn't know what she was getting into when she let Chevy into her life because while he would not stand in the way of her independence she has to let him be the MAN in their relationship. Maddie's sick daddy was why she hide from a social life of her own but Chevy made sure Maddie began to enjoy her life and his love. I'm sad to see this series end. I love the Ballantyne family, Mom and Pop, but why Greyson loves Sutton I don't know, she is spoiled, and selfish. But Kimberley what about Sierra? you can do a story about her. Ms. White brings her readers flawed characters men and women who are not perfect but love each other perfectly. Chevy and Maddie brought out the best in each other and helped each other grow beyond their little West Virginia hometown. The shy librarian and the reclusive mountain man were made for each other. Great book, Only In My Dreams and To Love A Ballantyne is a must for this series. Forever After is another great book by Ms. White.
