Peek-a-boo I see you How big is baby? Soooo big Baby Talk introduces parents, family members, and caregivers to the expressions and words that encourage babies to communicate and try out their verbal skills, in a sturdy board book format perfect for tiny hands. Each page is overflowing with Penny Gentieu's adorable photographs of expressive baby faces and body language, which babies will immediately understand and respond to because babies love to look at babies
My 2 1/2 year-old daughter loves this book! It is the only book she will sit still and listen to me read. She wants me to read it at nap time and at bedtime. She reads right along with me. I have heard her reading it to her dolls. She knows it by heart. I'm glad to see that there are other books available based on the same theme.
First Book, Only Book

My 16 month-old son thinks this book is the only book in the house. Every day, he picks it up, backs into me to sit in my lap, and puts the book in my hand to read. I've offered other books but he will have none of that. We read this one at least 7 times a day (and I work full-time!) He has learned body parts and baby games. He knows what the next page says now before I turn it. I say, "How big is baby?" Jonathan raises his hands! I am looking for more books written by this talented author. Penny Gentieu was right when she said, "Babies love to look at other babies."
A Must Have

My 16-month-old LOVES this book. He routinely pulls it off the bookshelf to read, and we have to read it 3 or 4 times in a row. When he holds it in his hands, he always has a big smile on his face. The book is full of terrific photographs of babies playing with their toes, hands, etc. Great for teaching children about body parts.
Beautiful babies will delight your little one

My 15 month old son LOVES this book. He wakes up in the morning and it's the first thing he looks for. There are pictures of babies playing patty-cake, peek-a-boo, so-big, and doing other baby things. My son copies the babies on the pages. The inside cover pages have fun illustrations of baby's favorite things (ball, socks, spoon, etc.) as well as a cute baby on which to point out eyes, arm, toes, etc. It's really a fun book and the babies are so sweet.
Another one of my baby's favorites ...

My baby is 16 months old, and she loves this book to pieces -- literally. She is fascinated by the babies in the book, and she copies their gestures -- she claps hands, plays peek-a-boo, and raises her arms in the air when I ask her "How big is baby?" It's beautifully photographed as well. I recommend it highly to anyone with a 1-year-old just learning to identify objects.
