Read it twice!

I've got to say that I really disagree with the negative review above. I think this was a gripping story and not just because of the content. As a high school teacher, this really hit home for me. I have passed the book on to my sister and she has passed it on to her friends! This writer is very conscious of language and rhythm. She non-judgmental of her subjects too. In fact, I liked it so much that I read it twice!

Great story great book

I read this book when it first came out and just ordered the author's new book. I didn't review it before but given how much the book has stuck with me I thought I'd write something. I couldn't put the book down. And I kept thinking about it. I couldn't get it out my head. Stella Sands is a really great writer and we're looking forward to "Behind the Mask." Great story great book.

Best True Crime in as Long as I Can Remember!

I read this book expecting the same kind of true crime that I've always read but was really shocked. Stella Sands has got quite a way with words. The novel is engrossing, informative, and beautifully written. It's one thing to read a book for leisure, to pass the time... But it's another to learn and really fall into the plotline and life of the characters. This is the best true crime book I've ever read. I recommend it to everyone and anyone. Get this book!
