Not a Mommy-come-lately

I,m not a Mommy-come-lately, but there is a 16 year span between our oldest and youngest. This book spoke to my heart, I cried and laughed. I love the fact that Beth included the views of her older children. A wonderful book of encouragement to all parents of children with a wide span in ages.

I loved this book!

Though I have not experienced a child after thirty five, I found a friend and perspective that I needed. There was a beautiful ease to reading an honest approach to mothering, at any age, any stage. Beth hs offered her reader a place for themselves, and will invite your own experince to appear within the pages of this book. Hopeful reading for women of any age

As a woman who passed 35 several years ago, but still hopes to have children, I found this book inspiring. Without sugar coating, this book explores the risks and rewards of many new moms. Be ready to laugh out loud at some of the personal stories, and maybe wipe away a tear or two as Moms and Dads share that life changing experience that is parenting.

Great Book!

As a mom who had my children after 30 (but before 35), I can say this book is practical and immensely readable. Any mom will find helpful advice in this book. Beth is candid and includes her own experience as well as those of numerous late-in-life moms and dads.

Fabulous book!

This is by far the best book I have read on late in life motherhood. It is comprehensive and insightful, giving input from many late in life moms and dads. This book is a must read for anyone contemplating having a child after 35, anyone late in life who is pregnant or have young children. It even has a great chapter for dads.
