Wonderful FREE Kindle download

I am a great fan of mystery stories and had never heard of Maureen Child. I downloaded this free offer after reading the reviews. I greatly enjoyed this story and I have purchased two additional books of hers.

Love Boat chapter 1000

The plot is a chapter of that old TV program. That doesn't mean this isn't a very good story. The book is fast paced and you'll get hooked to the plot since the first page and you won't be able to close it till you finish it. This is my first MC's book and I'll be looking for more.

Nice, quick read

I like reading books that I designate as "fluff" after I read some heavy hitters. I would recommend this book to those that tend to do the same. It was a quick read, but the story [.............] me right in. I finished it in one sitting and was never disappointed.

New Author to me and will read more of M.Childs!!! Great read

This was a Free Kindle e book and I certainly enjoyed the Story line. I have a new author now thanks to a free offer and I checked the rest of Maureen Childs other books she has written and the prices for her ebook's are to be commended . I am sure M.Childs will be selling more e-books than the well known authors whose publisher's are asking unexceptable price's for ebooks.A boycott is happening from Kindle folks who are not buying over priced ebooks. Pleasantly surprised

I really didn't expect to like this book. I mostly favor mystery novels and detective fiction, so when I downloaded this free book, I figured I'd read a few pages and decide it wasn't for me...but I was wrong. It was a quick read with a fast-paced (often racy) plot. Though the subject of proving paternity is a serious one (and treated as such by the author), the characters were light-hearted and even, at times, humorous. Though I don't think this Harlequin romance book will change my mind about my favorite literary genre, it WAS a pleasant diversion from more serious stories of murder and the criminal mind.
