Awakening: Regional Exhibition Catalog - SAQA Florida Region

The Florida Region of Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA) produced a juried exhibit for travel in 2024 - 2025 throughout Florida. Artists were challenged to create work inspired by the idea of "Awakening." Thirty works comprise the exhibit, selected by Juror Sara Pedigo, a painter and Professor of Art at Flagler College, St. Augustine, Florida. Artist interpretations of the theme include nature-based, abstract, conceptual, and representational works. These textile artworks reflect the creative diversity of ideas and methods represented by Florida's SAQA members. The Awakening catalog features beautiful full color images, along with an artist statement, for each work.
