Book Overview
Proceeds from this book support charitable causes.
In our culture, we begin celebrating Christmas before the Thanksgiving turkey gets cold. This wouldn't be so bad if there were any hint of Christ in our celebrations.
Advent is a time to focus on the anticipation of Christmas and to think about the need we have for the kind of saving that Christ does.
This devotional book, with the use of Advent candle readings and the "Jesse Tree," will help you and your family join the Ancient Israelites in waiting for the promised Messiah.
This book is designed to be used year after year so that it can become a cherished family tradition.
The JESSE TREE is a visual way to tell the story of the Bible from Genesis to Jesus. It has become an Advent tradition that helps us remember how God has been working in human history.
During each day of Advent, a Bible story is shared and a corresponding ornament is hung on the Jesse Tree. By the Time Christmas comes your family will have traveled through many of the key events in scripture and will have arrived at the very first Christmas. When Christmas finally comes your family will have a beautiful visual display of your journey together.
