Avatar: The Last Airbender – Imbalance Part Two (Team Avatar Infiltrate Liling’s Secret Gathering)

Avatar: The Last Airbender – Imbalance Part Two continues after Aang captures the firebender. Because Aang saved his life, the firebender revealed that it was two teenage girls who hired him and his crew to blow up the factory. Toph is furious and confused when she hears that one of the girls is an earthbender. The firebender didn’t know the reason behind the attacks. Lao reveals that his factory wasn’t the only target last night. Sokka Holmes pulls out his infamous hat when he’s playing detective. Momo joins the investigation. Team Avatar goes around to the other factory owners, asking questions and inspecting the crime scenes. Sokka connects the dots, stating that all the factories that were blown up last night by benders, and the factories are owned by non-benders. Sokka believes that the machines inside the factories were the real targets. The machines allow non-benders to do what benders can typically do. Sokka notes how some benders try to oppress non-benders. Aang will do everything in his power to be the bridge between benders and non-benders. Team Avatar enters Liling’s mansion to ask for her help bridging the gap between the benders and non-benders. Aang talks business with Liling while Momo examines Liling’s cat. Liling reveals that she and the Avatar are similar in regards to returning to familiar places affected by progress years later. Aang asks Liling for support for the non-bender businesses, and she agrees. At the same time, Momo’s new friend “accidentally” breaks the Avatar Kyoshi statue. Aang offers to fix it, but Yaling earthbends it back into shape. Toph challenges Yaling by metalbending a meteorite. Toph asks Yaling if she’s ever been to Lady Tienhai’s Cliffs, and Yaling denies ever traveling there. Toph can tell she's lying based on the matching footsteps and Yaling’s heartbeat. When Katara asks if Ru is a bender, Liling reveals that Ru isn’t but has other talents. Aang says he’ll put in a good word about Liling’s help with Fire Lord Zuko. As Team Avatar is leaving the house, Yaling approaches Toph and asks her if she can teach her metalbending. Toph agrees only because Yaling calls her Sifu Toph, the world’s greatest earthbender. After Team Avatar leaves the house, Ru voices her concerns about Yaling meeting with the Avatar’s friend. Yaling wants to learn metalbending and will do anything to achieve it. She even threatens Ru to keep from telling their mother. As Team Avatar puts some distance between them and the house, Toph discloses her gut feeling about Liling being a part of the factories’ sabotages. She also divulges her evidence to prove that it was them last night, blowing up the factories. Toph intends to learn what Yaling knows tomorrow during their training session. Sokka gets a surprise visit from Suki, arriving on an eel-hound. It’s cute how they reunite. Aang and Katara find it sweet, while Toph is disgusted by all the romance. It doesn’t help that Toph has a crush on Sokka. Anyway, Toph meets with Satoru and begins repairing his machines, but she tells him not to blame himself for the lack of jobs available to benders. The next day, Toph kicks back and watches Yaling fail at metalbending. Toph speaks about how Aang doesn’t have the stomach for metalbending; only tough earthbenders do. Toph changes the topic to Liling being so generous and how the non-bender machines can be delayed with the repairs. Yaling states her belief that benders should rule over nonbenders, and she invites Toph to the meeting. Aang, Katara, Sokka, Suki, and Momo are enjoying a relaxing afternoon, spending time together and playing cards until Toph kicks down the door. Poor Momo was so spooked he went flying. Toph reveals the information she received from Yaling. Toph suggests they burst into the meeting and bash some heads. Sokka suggests a different, not-as-fun plan of disguising themselves. Toph’s comment about not having to wear a wig and then transitioning to Aang wearing a wig is hilarious. Later that night, Aa
