Australia my beloved ridiculous colonies

Australia is my home now for 60 years and I love this country and it hurts me how stupidly it hangs on to its archaic colonial system which weakness leaves it in political shambles. It frustrates me how easily we could turn it into a proud, independent country through referenda but voters who must be over 21 years old, gainfully employed or retirees and have a minimum IQ. Our court system is a disgustingly out-dated shambles which must be replaced by people courts and if that means change the moth-eaten constitution - the sooner the better.
