She was a lady of true beauty

An excellent book which pays tribute to a beautiful attractive lady. What is especially sad is the fact that Mr.Willoughby had been with this beautiful actress from the start, and was able to follow her career and her personal life with never before seen pictures.I agree with Mr.Willoughby-I miss her too.

"Paris..." galore!

My favorite Audrey movie is "Paris When It Sizzles," so I was floored when I saw how many FANTASTIC pictures from the making of the film this book shows. Previously, I didn't think they existed. Bob Willoughby is a gifted photographer and I am delighted to have this book, not only as an Audrey fan, but as a movie and photography enthusiast as well. Wonderfully compiled and shot!

Great addition to your collection

This book is full of great images that cfome to life. the narrative that is woven along the book adds a very personlized touch to the photographs one is viewing. The artistict quality of each picture is essential to the portrayal of both actress and photographer. This book is a great addition to any collection.

A MOST PICTURE-PERFECT TRIBUTE TO A MOST FAIR LADY

Robert Willoughby had a distinguished career as a Hollywood photographer --- among the stars the magazine photographer (who's now credited with virtually reinventing the photojournalistic movie still) shot were Garland, Taylor and Monroe. But his fave was Edda van Heemstra Hepburn-Ruston. In this photo-packed valentine, he recalls shooting a new starlet one morning in 1953. When he met the gamine Belgian beauty, Willoughby was enraptured: "She took my hand like ... well, a princess, and dazzled me with that smile that God designed to melt mortal men's hearts." As Hepburn's career soared following her Hollywood starring debut in "Roman Holiday," Willoughby became a trusted friend; his historic, perfectionist, tender photographs seek out the many facets to Hepburn's beauty and elegance. This collection includes both iconic portraits, as well as stunning images that have never been published before. The perfect homage to a most fair lady.

Photographic Treasure!

I think there are few individuals who came as close to perfection in both beauty and personality as Audrey Hepburn. This book proves my point. Audrey was so incredibly beautiful that a bad photograph was probably impossible to take of her! Bob Willoughby shares his collection of photographs with us and it is a real treasure. Though the photos span a relatively short period of time in her life, they are nonetheless glimpes of Audrey both on and off screen. Both black and white and color photographs are featured. My favorite photos are the ones of Audrey in "Two For The Road", which is, by the way, one of the best films I have ever seen. If you love Audrey, BUY this book!!! You will not regret it!
