May31st, 2000Other manuals of Pain Mangement techniques exist, however Dr. Steve Waldman's command of anatomy, clinical disease, and far-reaching vision of the specialty of Interventional Pain Mangement has, for two-decades, been a source of inspiration and courage for younger clinical practitioners in the specialty. The current Hardcover volume is superbly illustrated, with clear instructions, and an encyclopedic-volume of possible pain management procedures to offer patients suffering from a wide variety of clinical sydromes. The author is to be, once again, congratulated for his efforts. I refer to this text regularly in my clinic, and recommend it whole-heartedly.
