Ataturk’s Civilization

Ilhan Enver Ryustem. Ataturk's Civilization. -- Washington: Ukraina Inc. -- 2026. -- 200 p.

Ataturk's Civilization is a provocative and controversial examination of white slavery, Turkish history, identity, and the legacy of Mustafa Kemal Atat rk. In this book, I present my own interpretation of the origins of modern Turkey, arguing that the history of slavery, conquest, and cultural transformation has been largely overlooked or deliberately concealed. In Turkey we largely descend from European slaves, which isn't widely known.

Through my analysis of the Ottoman Empire, the devshirme system, the Janissaries, the rise of Western civilization, and Atat rk's reforms, I challenge widely accepted historical narratives and invite readers to reconsider long-held assumptions about the relationship between the East and the West.

The enslavement of Europeans is often an overlooked topic. With this book I'm shedding some light on the enslavement of Europeans by easterners and North Africans and argue the importance of this subject for the whole world.

Drawing together history, philosophy, politics, religion, and cultural criticism, the book explores themes of civilization, democracy, identity, freedom, and historical memory. Rather than offering a conventional historical account, it presents a personal and highly unconventional perspective intended to provoke discussion and debate about the forces that have shaped the modern world.

Whether readers agree with its conclusions or strongly disagree, Atat rk's Civilization seeks to encourage critical thinking, open dialogue, and a re-examination of history through a different lens.
