How do we experience time? What is a moment? Where does the past end and the future begin? These questions are of growing concerns to composers today, not least set in motion by a direction towards formulations of listening practices by musicians. My own music postulates upon these questions somewhat to the extreme, generally inspired by phenomenological thought.
