In addition to the "common" practices of violence against women, we can talk about a type of violence practiced inside Brazil's militarized schools: gender-based violence against teenage students. This reality has been documented through internet activism by the public Facebook page "No Meu Col gio Militar", inspired by the hashtag #nomeucolegiomilitar. There is all kinds of violence in these places, but it is the gender aspect that stands out. Such violence is a result of the permissiveness with which the management of these schools treats the complaints that reach them. We therefore point out that it is urgent that there is a lack of interest in this type of education that intertwines civilian and military education, otherwise we will train people through discrimination, who, by normalizing, will reproduce oppression in their adult lives.
