An exciting romance that will keep readers entranced until the conclusion

You don't know what you have until it's gone. "At Midnight" is protagonist Choice Fowler's tale about realizing that difficult truth, after his break up with his lover Debrena. When he tries to get her back, he finds that she's already taken by another woman - one Lorrie Cunningham. Choice does everything he can think of to win Debrena back, even when she apparently wants nothing to do with his gender any longer. "At Midnight" is an exciting romance that will keep readers entranced until the conclusion of this unorthodox love triangle.

Still Holding On

No one could convince me that men could write a lesbian novel with depth, but author Terry B. made me a believer with Dancer's Paradise, which told the story of dancer Debrena Allen coming to terms with her sexuality. AT MIDNIGHT picks up where Paradise left off, only this time the narration is through the eyes of photographer Choice Fowler, the man Debrena abandoned to follow her heart. While she finally gives way to falling in love with best friend Lorrie Cunningham, Choice is still enamored of Debrena, seemingly unable to shake the hold she has over his soul. He knows if he sees her again, he'll lose it. In the meantime, Choice needs a makeup artist for a big assignment, and Lorrie is the best in the business. While it doesn't sit well with him to work with the woman who stole his dream girl, it does grant Choice the chance to have some connection to Debrena. When the former flames finally do come face to face at fashion show, Debrena designs a way to get him more involved in her life than he bargained for. Debrena and Lorrie have what seems like a solid relationship. But as happy as she seems with Lorrie, Debrena wants more. When she runs into Choice, she sees him as an opportunity to test Lorrie's love for her -- a move that involves all three of them. The question is now, who will Debrena give her heart to? Terry B. has a page-turning story, one you can breeze through easily. At Midnight makes a smooth continuation from Paradise, and provides a thorough background of Choice Fowler and the heartaches he's suffered. The characters were engaging, and make you realize how selfish and insecure some people can be when it comes to love.

How Far Would You Go To Get The Woman of Your Dreams?

At Midnight: Choice Fowler's Story by Terry B has a hint of mystery, love, and very descriptive scenes. Choice Fowler is the most requested photographer at NTA (Nelson Talent Agency), but he comes with a lot of baggage. Moving from city to city, Choice is looking for love in all the wrong places. What started off as a summer fling with Debrena Allen ended with unresolved issues between the two; while Choice is feeling incomplete, and Debrena has moved on. Choice cannot seem to come to grips with Debrena leaving him for another woman, so he has made a vow to himself to get her back at all costs. With a major photo shoot coming up, Choice has to put together a team of prop, hair and makeup artists to be able to pull this major deal off in time. Low and behold Lorrie, Debrenas' girlfriend, is the most qualified for the job as a makeup artist. Having to face either of them is painful for Choice but there is a job to be done. Debrena is having mixed feelings as well, only hers are not as intense as Choices'. She wants to sow her oats; while dating Lorrie is nice, Debrena wants to have her cake and eat it too. Debrena poses a challenge to Lorrie to see if she is really in love with her, but the challenge includes Choice. Will Debrena realize Lorrie is the love of her life? Or will she continue to string all the players along while trying to find herself? In the midst of all this turmoil, Choice hooks up with his best friend, Londa. It was a mutual arrangement for convenience only, no feelings attached or are they? Londa decides she wants Choice by any means necessary even if she gets him by default. Hang on to your seats, because this is one bumpy ride. This is a well-written story however, I had a hard time keeping up with it because it moved at such a slow pace in the beginning.
