Another Horse Whisperer

Ashleigh Griffen's mare Stardust gets hurt and can't be ridden for the entire summer. Ashleigh is devastated so at a livestock auction she bids on a neglected racehorse Majestic Promise. He is distrustful to humans and gives Ashleigh a hard time. She meets a boy Caleb who lives next door to her, and he helps her train Promise. I thought that was amazing! When Promise's owner finds him, what will Ashleigh do? Read the book and find out!

this book was a good book. i wish that things were a little more realistic though. as another reader commented, ashleigh woundnt have been able to buy promise. and whatever happened to renegade? and stardust's foal? <- didnt she breed stardust to aladin's treasure too?? over all this book (as well as all the ashleigh and thoroughbred books) was execellent. i just wish that they authors would follow joanna's ideas and keep them that way instead of creating things that are totally strange!

A fun, lighthearted book!

I loved reading this book. It's a bit above my age-level, but heck! I have been reading TB's for seven years! That's a hard habit to break! Anyway, back to this book. Ashleigh is such a fun character who finds some way to get into trouble at every turn! What did she do now? Bought a racehorse with her father's bidding card!

One of the BEST!

This is definatly one of the best books in the series.....When Ashleigh's mare Stardust is injured for the entire summer Ashleigh "accidentley" bids a abused, skinny thoroughbred gelding at an auction. The chestnut gelding, Majestic Promise, is brought back to health quickly but is unruly and bossy. Ashleigh knows that if she tells her parents he'll get sold! She wants to ride him badly but there's NO WAY she can. Then a boy that rummors tell her not to go by turns out to have a natural way with horses. When he offers to work with Promise Ashleigh eagrly agrees. Finally, she gets through to Promise but then someone comes to Edgardale....

A fun read

I like to read the books where Asleigh gets into trouble for some crazy horse thing. Buying a broken down horse at an auction without her parents permission gets Ashleigh into a lot of trouble, but her parents agree to let her nurse the horse back to health and find a good home for it. This book was fun to read.
