What happens when the quirky band of plush mascots created by the Aranzi Aronzo team get together and gallivant about town? Aranzi Machine Gun! Following on from The Cute Book, this book reveals more about the mascot characters, where they come from, where they're going and who their friends are.
i teach a children's plushie art class, and i use the cute book and the companion books with the stories starring all the plushies in my class. the kids overwhelmingly love this book and all the machine guns. most of my kids are female (but not all) ages 7-10. these books are super cute, creative, inspirational and fun.

I loved this book. I bought the Bad Book and looked for more of their products because I enjoyed it so much. This is very much in the same category. My type of humor. Definitely getting the other volumes!

Which pattern do I like best? Miss Applique, Leaping Rabbit, Crab, flower, fish, deer, Eyelash bunny, or Unmotivated Kid? It was fun to decide which pattern to put on the following crafts: How to make a simple cushion and How to make a Pen Holder or Trash can. There are also lots of other idea inspiring photos like aprons and purses (no specific instructions for these but if you are a crafter you won't need more than an inspiring photo). The cute comics inside were a treat! This books is a great gift for your fellow crafter esp if you include a felt mascot or doll you made yourself!
Not a craft book

Since there are a lot of people who buy Aranzi Aronzo for the crafts, I just want to mention that this is primarily not a craft book. There's exactly ONE project, toward the end, involving crafts (really, applique), so if you're looking for crafting projects, don't buy this. This is more of a really random picture book, with a small poster included in the front. If you liked The Bad Book, you'll like Machine Gun Vol 1. If you didn't like the Bad Book, avoid Machine Gun, it's just more of the same inanity. I love the complete randomness of these books (maybe I'm just fond of inanity), but I know plenty of people consider it a waste of time. "Mr. Sprite's Voyage Westward" is a super cute photographic journey of Kappa-chan. The binding is paperback and it's cut much smaller than the earlier Aranzi Aronzo counterparts, incidentally.
