They must also come to terms with a new awakening of personal spirituality as they each search for a purpose and meaning in their experiences and circumstances. At the end of the journey can Larry and the few other survivors learn to accept each other and trust in the innate goodness of humanity to come together and along with Mother Nature build a sustainable community?
