This book needs to be turned into a movie!!! Hurry Tyler Perry!

I can see truly this book on the big screen. Someone needs to option this book into a movie or tv drama with the quickness. The four women characters were so diverse and the drama was very realistic. I know real women who act like each one of these 4 characters. I couldn't put it down. Parts of the book had me LOL and other parts were so heartwarming. I started not to buy Abd God Created Woman b/c of the not-so-good reviews, but I'm glad I am the type of person who listens to my own mind. I can see how some people wouldn't be too hype about this book b/c it is not the typical "hood book". It actually has depth. The only bad thing I can say is that it ends so abruptly, and I hear that the sequel is not out yet. But none-the-less. I would highly recommend And God Created Woman.

I really enjoyed this book....

I really enjoyed this book, the different characters were funny and I like the way they were all tied in together. I can't wait to read Part 2; I need to know what happened to all the characters in this book!

Great Book

I really enjoyed this book. All 4 characters were very interesting. It was cool how they were all so different but somehow were connected to each other. Mika Miller really knows how to tell a story. Can't wait for the sequel.

...and it only took me one day to read about it

What do you get when you throw a "Dyke", a "Bitch", a 'Ho, and "Drunk" together... GHETTOHEAT Productions latest page turner, "And God Created Woman ". Mel is a "lesbian" who has more hang-ups then the local cleaners. Mekka is a stripper, who tricks more then she treats in her desire to create a better life for her kids, not realizing that with out and "exit" strategy the road she travels leads her nowhere . Shawn , a private school teacher, with a weed habit that puts Snoop to shame, is letting her 4th graders run wild while she tries to smoke and sip (from a thermos filled with rum flavored coffee) her problems away. Then there is Tristan, THEEEE BITCH, with a Magna Cum Laude Harvard Degree and killla Manolos to prove it, whose icy," I got all the right answers" demeanor may prove to be the catalyst of her fall from the top in both her professional and personal life. Ms. Miller's character development is both vivid and engaging I was easily caught up in each woman plight. Moreover even though there is an element of "slinging", this is an excellent marriage of both the Urban and Contemporary lit genres. My only complaint was that it ended just when it was getting juicier, assuring that part two in going to be even more dramatic. I can't wait to see what lies ahead in part two for this awesome foursome. It was fast paced, never really having a dull or dragging moment. I had to give this one four stars, if you like drama this has that and them some!

This book is a must read!!! Couldn't put it down

And God Created Woman is urban, yet with a contemporary flair. With the four very diverse characters, I found that it was refreshing. The characters had very distinct, believable voices. Full of drama, wit, sass and on a deeper level than most books that have all glitz, but no substance. I was surprised at the deep moral messages. Glad to see that Mika is on the road to edutaining young women.It definitely has a gritty edge, but it is also very polished and sophisticated. I am an avid reader of the urban genre, and I couldn't put it down! Can't wait for the sequel!
