During the pandemic, I sat down to write a new cabaret show I wanted to call Time Flies. The show got longer and longer before I realized that I was really writing my memoirs. Writing kept me sane during that long time of isolation. Thank goodness for creativity
It started with one of my earliest memories, and as I went along, I realized that my life had spanned decades full of memories-from watching our cook, Thomas, plow a field, harvesting corn in 1930s Atlanta, to now being a proud mother and grandmother.
These are the stories of the things that pushed me, pulled me, hurt me, and taught me.
