A thought-provoking book

This book presents what may be for many Westerners some new perspectives on relationships (and on the lack thereof). The conversation between the two women and allows us to follow along as their thinking develops and as their opinions and priorities change. An important book for anyone committed to living as a healthy, Christian adult, whether single or married.

The shape of love in two cultures

Two women, Ivy from India and Margaret from England meet atchurch in the US. They become the closest of friends, and laterregular correspondents. Their exploration of the meaning of love as it plays out in their lives will resonate in the minds of many women. What of fantasies influenced by romance novels? Can one love the person chosen by others in an arranged marriage? Will love overcome culture? What's wrong with being single? The women are not lesbians, nor is there any heavy breathing. Just good, decent, highly-educated women who want fulfilling lives.
