Quick, clear and concise.

The book has over 300 pages and subdivided into 16 easy chapters. It is intended for the college audience particularly for those in their early studies. Ken's writing style could be different from the standard evolutionary college textbook. Furthermore, he choses to "depart from the standard treatment of evolution present in other textbook on evolution wherein the arguments are reductionist, molecular, and overwhelmingly genetic in flavor." Ken seemed to be very aware of the controversy over evolution and its social implications. However, you will not find him delving into that path which makes this book really interesting. He focuses instead on the basic concepts of biological evolution broad enough for college students, biology teachers and all readers as well. I find this book informative and straightforward. I recommend this to anybody interested on unbiased treatment on the subject. Good work Ken.
