Great Book!!

My mom was told she needed to reduce her salt for cardiac reasons so I got this book from the local library and loved it so much I decided to buy it. You don't even miss the salt with these recipes.

Love this cookbook.!!

I recently was put on a low sodium diet and I needed some help getting started. This cookbook has a lot of recipes that are just for the everyday person. There are so many tips too. I think this is a great source for someone who is looking for easy recipes as well as substitute recipes for things you make now but need to change to make them low sodium. I'm very happy with this book. When I first got it it made feel better about a low sodium diet. Better in the sense that it is something I can do and succeed at. In my opinion this is a great book to have in your kitchen. Even if you are not restricited... as you all know Americans eat way too much sodium and need to cut back.

Buy it - you'll love it!

I purchased this book after I was advised to maintain a low salt diet for reasons of cardio-vascular health. Not only have my wife and I fallen in love with many of the recipes, we have benefited from lower blood pressure, more energy and weight loss.

great recipes - a must have for the low salt dieter

This book has tons of recipes - organized under headings - which make it easy to find something to cook - when you need something new - a great tool for exploring the new world of low - salt. I have followed the recommedations in the book and I have lost 5 pounds in one month - I'm sure that I won't see them again - and I have never felt better - so full of energy!

It's amazing how delicious low-salt cooking is!

After some hesitation, I chose this book, figuring I had nothing to lose except a couple of bucks. I was amazed at how delicious the recipes were. The pasta dishes are great, the vegetable dishes have a great blending of flavors. Even my kids have enjoyed some of the dishes I have prepared. I am also surprised at the desserts. They are quite nice: brownies, oatmeal cookies, custards and crepes! Yum!
