A must for Eskie lovers

One of the better books on breeds I've seen in a while - covers personality, quirks, training. I've found it very helpful in understanding my own half-Eskie puppy.

Informative and Helpful

A must reading for anyone who owns an American Eskimo. These are very special dogs! I also recommend the true story of Princess as told in "Good Morning, Miss Prin" - a heartwarming story of an American Eskimo who suffered longlasting damage from abuse, and found a loving and secure home with two special people.

In one of the previous reviews, it said this book doesn't cover teething and such. But it does! It covers teething, digging, housebreaking, training, breeding and much more! What you need before the purchase and how to pick a show dog! I highly suggest this book if you plan on, or already have, an American Eskimo Dog.

Terrific Book!!

If you have an American Eskimo, if you're thinking about getting one, buy this book! The text is understandable and written by someone who must know Eskies!!! Since getting my little guy, I've learned a lot and most of it came from this book!!!

Great book!

This is a wonderful book for people who know nothing of the breed and wish to learn, or for those who know the breed deeply, and just want to read about it. I own an Eskie, and it described him perfectly! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.
