Alpha's Indecent Proposal

"Listen, I just want to clarify things. I want to be with you. So, my proposal is..."
She cut me off with a scoff, "Proposal?" She crossed her arms over her chest as if she was going to reject it immediately, but I pressed on with my proposition.
"Jenny I want you to be my mistress," I declared in one swift, confident breath as a one time offer. Take it or leave it. I hoped she would accept. She had turned my life upside in just a matter of days. I had been thinking of her incessantly. She managed to transform my dull, lackluster existence into something lively and brimming with emotion. Thus, I wanted her to stay in my life, permanently if necessary.
When I finally tuned back into our conversation, she was saying, "This is an indecent proposal You're being so selfish What's the difference between you and my mother now? If you weren't the person who saved my life and provided me with a place to stay, I would slap you for humiliating me like this. Don't you care about me at all?" She lifted her eyebrows in question.
"I'm sorry, I do care. But sleeping with you doesn't make you my mate and doesn't mean I would desert my Luna for just three sensual nights," I explained simply and honestly, sharing the thoughts that had been circling in my head. She needed to let go of dreams that would never be reality.
