Harrowing account of survival

Excellent telling of a young girl’s survival after her family was murdered just a few feet from where she slept. Definitely otherworldly, spiritual.

Amazing Story

Fast Read. Amazing Story of survival and the strength, courage and will to live. Incredible True story by the woman who lived to tell.

From US Air Force Rescue

I flew one of the aircraft, an Hu-16 Albatross in the search for the Bluebelle. Even after Julian Harvey was picked up, we had high hope of recovering others, so the search continued for three days, expanding northward to compensate for the flow of the Gulf Stream. When Tere Jo was picked up by the Greek freighter we were 45 miles away. Naturally, we were all elated but guilt persists to this day, that we may have flown over Tere but missed her in the choppy seas. I have always wondered how that brave young girl continued her life, and now we finally know ! Thanks, Tere Jo

Amazing story of survival

This is an incredible true story of a very courageous young girl and a horrific tragedy. It's absolutely a must read! I can't even fathom what it must have been to live through that. What an amazing story.

Hope, Love and Determination

This book is an inspiration to anyone out there that is struggling. The story of Tere's survival is second to none. The recovery process is unbelieveable. Her love of life and family should inspire us all. This is a must read, want to read and should read.

you can't make this stuff up

you just have to read this book Alone Orphaned on the Ocean!! good god what a remarkable account of one incredibly tough little girl. I can't stop thinking about this story...my first instinct is to find this woman and take care of her. my heart was broken as I read the events of her life, my heart was mended when I read of the love and nurturing she has been blessed with from not only aunts, uncles, cousins but from her own three remarkable children. When she dies she will most certainly go to heaven for she spent her time in hell. Thank God for the undying spirit in Tere and for others like her for it gives hope to the rest of us and our so meaningless problems in comparison.

a must read!

i loved this book. it is still with me, i can't stop thinking about it...can't fathom what Tere went through...and still goes through each day...Everyone should read this book! makes us all appreciate what we have and to not sweat the small stuff in life. i am a believer of God gives us only what we can handle, but wow, that was a lot for a little girl to handle...so remarkable.
