And the surprise is that they have a goodly share of the "Moorish" art and architecture you'd need to stand in long lines to see in Granada, as well as wonders from the Christian Renaissance and Baroque. The cathedral of Burgos, shown on the cover of this book, contains the tomb of El Cid, the real & legendary hero of the Reconquest.
