When a loved one dies, a piece of us dies with them making us feel like we're alive after dying. I'm a gay man. Whether you identify as part of the LGBTQ demographic or straight, feelings are the same. Catholicism shamed me into feeling unwelcome and unloved by the universe. Four mentors came into my life to help me on my spiritual journey. I realized I couldn't help others until I could help myself. I almost gave up on humanity.
