book

nice to have business that are trueful--- book was as they said good shape, very little wear.

exciting "tough chick" romance..

this is the first Silhouette Bombsheel novel I've read, and it's the second in the "Athena Force" series. In this story, Darcy, the heroine is a master of disguise-on the run for 4 years from her abusive, high profile husband. Darcy tries to maintain some semblance of a regular life but also runs a "underground railroad" of sorts for other abused woman. All in all, a good action book-I would have given it five stars except the romance, in my opinion, could have been better, and the heroine was a bit aggrevating with her die hard reluctance to getting the police involved-even though big time crimes were being committed. I'd recommend this short, exciting read to romance fans who like tough, take charge female leads, and equally tough heroes. 4 stars.

perfect

This was a great book, far better than the previous 4 bombshell titles. This is the second in the "Athena Force" series. Darcy Steeles was an abused wife of a powerful, millionaire husband and no one believed her when she tried to get help. Finally, she took her son and went into hiding. 3 years later, she is saving other abused women and living under an alias. She is disguise expert, living under different faces and names. She can't be exposed, because legally she has kidnapped her son and no one believed her tales of abuse before. Then she finds out that her husband is hiding a big secret, one so dark, that if she can prove it, it will free her and allow her to keep her son. There are two gorgeous men, Jack and Kel, who are after her, one utterly reliable, one charming and mysterious. Unlike the other bombshell titles I've read, there is a well written romance throughout the entire book, plenty of plot, mystery and suspense. I really liked this book, and usually I find Harlequins poorly written. This book was the exception, and is definitely a keeper.
