A.L.I.a

The year is 2057. Earth has collapsed, and only one habitable city remains: Altera, a 200-metre-high platform rising from the desert plains of Florida. While humanity clings to survival, a distant colony called Olympia has evolved under Henry Clarke, former head doctor of A.L.I.A. Clarke radicalises ideas from Charles Darwin's mythical fourth book, The Future of Man, twisting its speculative theories into a cold program of AI-human evolution.

Fifty years earlier, Daniel Blake and his fianc e Aurora were in a catastrophic accident that left Daniel in a coma. When the Alpha Missions launched to find humanity a new home, Daniel was transported aboard in cryosleep and arrived on Olympia still unconscious. He remained asleep for fifty years while the colony evolved without him.

When Daniel finally awakens, he finds Aurora transformed into a part-human, part-AI hybrid whose emotional capacity is considered a flaw in Clarke's logic-driven design.

Henry learns that Sophia Silva - a woman Marius Cruz sent to determine how much time Earth had left - had her research stolen and weaponised by RISE, a cult determined to reshape humanity's future. Clarke begins hunting Aurora and Daniel, intent on erasing the last remnants of emotional being.

Meanwhile on Earth, President Josephine Lindsay learns from tech billionaire Marius Cruz that Olympia has launched a missile capable of destroying Altera. When she announces the threat, the city descends into chaos. Marius assembles a small team to stop the missile, but political unrest and RISE attempt to destabilise Altera in its last hours. Sophia research resurfaces, revealing that RISE distorted her research to justify their ideology.

On Olympia, Aurora uncovers the truth: Clarke's evolution program rejects emotion entirely. Daniel is captured and forcibly upgraded into a more advanced AI form, stripped of memory and humanity.
