"Aftermath" is part of an ongoing fundraiser, created by Stacie Ann Leininger, in honor of 15-year-old homicide victim Andrew James McMahon.
Leininger hopes to use her poetry to help get McMahon's case the attention it should've had back in 1995.
Silenced by nefarious individuals, Leininger knew that one day she'd be able to speak the truth. Until Andrew's killers are arrested, Leininger must remain silent about certain details; but, she can funnel her emotions into poetry that tells her mental health journey.
The poetry found in "Aftermath" showcases Leininger's dark humor, resilience, strength, and poetic abilities.
