Felicity Gingham returns to Canada with a single suitcase, fourteen dollars, and nowhere left to go. After a year overseas ends in disaster, she finds herself rebuilding from the ground up in a small basement apartment in Moncton, working retail shifts, searching for stability, and carrying the weight of a fractured relationship with the daughter she can no longer reach.
