Dee Livers lives in Ellisville, Missouri, with her husband and has two grown sons. Her husband, Jerry, provides the technical support she so desperately needs. She is also grandmother to two adorable grandchildren, Max and Eva. They are the inspiration for her children's books and provide the ideas for more books to come.

Dee has had a number of different careers during her working life, but the one she enjoyed the most was as a pre-school teacher at a Montessori School.
