Great Reference Book!

What a great reference book for practicing Acupuncturists who are or will be treating children. The information on treating western children ailments is very detailed in all aspects and very easy to follow and understand. This a MUST for every TCM practitioner's library. Detailed, Well Written and Clear in its Coverage. OUTSTANDING!

Scott has a number of books out, they're all excellent and this one is one of the best. Very clear and direct exposition of child patterns, good mention of herbs and and well organized presentation. The book even suggests a technique of acupuncture for the little ones which will combine safety, ease of penetration and guidelines for stimulation. Ideal for a text book or for use in a practice.

Keep it Simple

The best thing about Julian Scott's teaching is that he keeps everything simple. This book follows that guideline, which makes a scary thought a bit less scary and a lot more realistic and possible. VERY valuable content

The author conveys his knowledge and experience superbly. In content, clarity and applicability, this book is a real winner. In this subspecialty (acupuncture for children) there a few quality publications, this is one of the best. The information is of practical value for both lay people and professionals. Parents, nurses, physicians and acupuncturists will greatly benefit from this one.
