Aaron Lets Go...One of the best

What can you say about this book without giving anything away? This is an awesome story line, filled with everything you've come to expect from Katherine Applegate in this series. I loved this book because we have a new main character introduced and we get to see things from his view point. As always, it has the emotional roller coaster so many of us have to do deal with. People are falling in and out of love, and making and breaking friendships. Excitement at one hundred miles an hour.

Just As Great As The First Thirteen Books!!!

Wow! These series of books are just great. This book is very good except for Ben's attitude it is really bad! Zoey and Lucas are all lovey dovey and NiNA poor NiNA how rude of Ben to leave her!! Well if you liked the first 13 you'll love this one too!!

Quick paced and entertaining! "Making Out" does it again!

Aaron knows he screwed up by kissing Kate at the party, and realizes he wants to make it up to her (even though he's still a rat!) Claire won't hear of it, however, and her giddy-in-love personality fades. Nina, too, isn't too happy, with Benjamin's depression and breakup, but her antics are a bit amusing in this one again. Zoey and Lucas are a back to lovey dovey, but I think the best line in this one is when Claire tells Ben, "The whole world does not revolve around your funk!" Somebody needed to. I'm getting so sick of him! And he used to be my favorite character!

I'm a little bit in awe. . . .

The only reason I'm giving this book five stars is because I don't want to turn some potential Applegate fan off to her because she didn't get the full star value. It's definitely not one of the best in this series- but it'll do. Sometimes I wonder what it must be like to have an unlimited supply of things to pull out of my head to write about like Katherine Applegate obviously does. I don't want to go off on a rant here, but I read the first eight of this series years ago and didn't even realize that she was going to come out with more. But this woman has turned into a bit of pop culture. I always thought that she was strickly a young adult romance writer, but now she's got the Animorphs and the Everworld crap. I don't like these new Making Out books as much as the first eight, mainly because Nina and Benjamin broke up, but also because it seems like, as I said before, Katherine Applegate isn't all that impassioned about the characters anymore and is just pulling stuff out of her butt to sell books. But that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.
