I love the musical Rent. I love the song "Seasons of Love" and the line "How do you measure a year in the life?" This book is my humble attempt to document the life of my mother from a daughter's eyes. I chose to write a poem or two from each month, showcasing my most vivid memories of her. There were so many wonderful memories; choosing which ones to write about was the hardest part. Basking in the glory of being her daughter was easy. Writing this helped me to remember to "measure her life in love." She loved us beyond measure and we are forever changed by her.
