Nashville - Part One - Ready to Reach

By Inglath Cooper

A small-town girl. A big dream. One ride that changes everything.

Nineteen-year-old CeCe MacKenzie leaves the only home she's ever known with everything she needs: a guitar, her grandma's old car, and a Walker Hound named Hank Junior riding shotgun. Destination - Nashville, and the singing dream she's carried her whole life.

Then the car bursts into flames on the side of I-40.

Stranded with her dog and a dream that's never felt farther away, CeCe is rescued by two Georgia football players headed for Music City with dreams of their own. Thomas Franklin is easy to like. Holden Ashford - a songwriter with a rare gift and a girlfriend back home - is something else entirely: a connection CeCe has no business feeling, and no idea how to stop.

As CeCe steps into the bright lights and hard knocks of Nashville, she'll learn that chasing a dream means facing her fears, risking her heart, and trusting the people who believed in her when no one else did.

Because sometimes the hardest part of following your dream... is discovering where it leads you.
