If you want to increase your child's vocabulary - get this program!

We've used this book in our homeschool studies for several years now, and I continue to recommend it to my friends. The book gives you a vocabulary word along with a definition/explanation in a conversational tone. We then reinforce that one word throughout the week (we write the word and definition on an index card and put it on the fridge or take it in the car and make up sentences using the word). This program really does increase your vocabulary! It's wonderful to hear a ten-year-old using words like "garrulous" and "discordant" in their everyday conversation.
